FARAWAY DOWNS will debut worldwide on Disney’s streaming platforms in November 2023

FARAWAY DOWNS, an expanded version of Baz Luhrmann’s epic film “Australia”, will debut worldwide on Disney’s streaming platforms in November 2023, as a six-part extended director’s cut of the original feature.
FARAWAY DOWNS will stream exclusively as a Hulu Original in the U.S. and a Star Original on Disney+ and Star+ in International Markets. The six-episode instalment is comprised of footage that was captured for the film, while offering an expanded, serialised version of the story complete with a new ending and updated music soundtrack.
FARAWAY DOWNS is executive produced by Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Schuyler Weiss, and Catherine Knapman.
